July 4th, 2009

http://www.discgolfassoc.com/discgolf-tournament/worlds/2009worlds_fundraiser.html

Presented to the 2009 PDGA Pro/Am World Disc Golf Championships: DGA is excited to announce the return of our highly successful fundraiser disc and disc golf course giveaway program that has been offered to the 2009 Pro/Am World Championships being held in Kansas City, Missouri. This is the third year this program has been offered to the PDGA Worlds and has proven to be a very successful fundraiser for the Championships. Available only through four exclusive partners: Disc Golf World Disc Nation Gotta Go Gotta Throw Sun King Disc Sports This years fundraising disc will be our brand new midrange disc, the Aftershock™. This midrange disc is a controllable, stable disc with great glide that will surely find its way into many golfers bags. DGA is excited to be offering this new disc in our Limited Edition Sparkle plastic blend for this fundraiser.

Once again, DGA has created a very unique and stylish piece of color artwork for this disc that will surely increase the collector value. The winner will have their very own course to do with as they wish. This is a great opportunity for individuals as well as clubs across the country to get a chance at winning the course youve always wanted without having to come up with the funds to purchase a whole course. You can install your own private course and keep it to yourself or you can donate the full course to a park department and be a hero in your local disc golf community. This years prized Mach III Deluxe Disc Pole Holes will be powder coated in a limited edition Granny Smith Green. DGA rarely powder coats the Mach III Disc Pole Holes, making these disc golf courses truly unique. We feel that because of this fact, the limited fundraiser discs will be sold very quickly. We expect disc golf clubs will pool their resources to purchase as many of these discs as possible in order to increase their chances of winning.

How much do custom golf clubs usually cost?

Posted in Golf Clubs  by admin
July 4th, 2009

I mean a full set of custom golf clubs, designed just for one person. What is usually the price range? And what brand is the best?

Custom fit from the factory?….$300 for a custom set to start…whats that guy talkin about…figure just $150 to $300 for the session to size u, built into the price of a set of clubs..and I don’t know about him but I don’t want custom fit knock offs or lesser brand.. so figure close to $1,000 with steel shafts to start..If you price any mid range to decent set of clubs they start at $750 on up and were not talkin fitting or graphite shafts
